Star Wars Battlefront II's Last Jedi Content Revealed

Star Wars Battlefront II Last Jedi content revealed

With the game now fully playable (and lacking in-game purchases), EA has announced the first wave of additional content for Star Wars Battlefront II with the game’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi season.

When the update first arrives on December 5, players will be tasked with picking a side: the First Order or the Resistance. Player choices will allow them to take part in special challenges toward faction-specific rewards.

Following that, December 13 sees the release of stormtrooper-turned-hero Finn and Captain Phasma. The new heroes can be purchased with in-game Credits beginning that week. In addition, whichever player faction is victorious in completing the most challenges that week will net a reward as well: a special Crate of high-power upgrades for Finn or Captain Phasma.

New maps and vehicles will also be released on December 13th with a new planetary map: Crait. The Starfighter Assault map of D’Qar will join as well, plus a new hero ship – Tallie Lintra’s RZ-2 A-wing. Poe Dameron’s T-70 X-wing is also upgraded with a new ability inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Finally, Iden Versio returns in Star Wars Battlefront II Resurrection, as players can take part in brand new chapters for the single-player story as Commander Iden Versio during the days of the First Order’s rise to power.
