The first image from director Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher is now online, courtesy of EW, and it shows off a surprising look for leading man Steve Carell. He appears throughout the film wearing the facial prosthetics that you can see below.
Also starring Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall, Foxcatcher tells the gripping, true story of Olympic Wrestling Champion brothers Mark Schultz (Tatum) and Dave Schultz (Ruffalo) and their relationship with the eccentric John du Pont (Carell), heir to the du Pont Chemical fortune that led to murder.
The Sony Pictures Classics release will hit limited theaters on December 20.
