Plot Summary: "Inglourious Basterds" (sic) begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.

Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...

I just hope this movie doesn't jump around from one scene to an older scene to a future one, back to current.. I really hate that about his movies. ALmost unwatchable. I like his style of "in your face" gritty violence but I hate having to keep track of when what happened.

Given that I am a WW2 history enthusiast I have to say that I can't think of anybody I'd rather have less do a WW2 film than Tarantino. I hope I'm wrong but I get the feeling this film will be awful.

I like so many of his movies, but I lost a lot of faith after watching Death Proof.

He's gonna have to pull his head out of his arse and put some effort in to this one.

Death Proof was an amazing film. Perfectly casted and Wonderfully scripted. Not to mention the 2 great "Action sequences"
Tarantino accomplished exactly what he set out to do for that "Grindhouse film".
I can't wait to see the trailer
