Plot Summary: "Australia" is an epic and romantic action adventure, set in that country on the explosive brink of World War II. In it, an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) travels to the faraway continent, where she meets a rough-hewn local (Hugh Jackman) and reluctantly agrees to join forces with him to save the land she inherited. Together, they embark upon a transforming journey across hundreds of miles of the world's most beautiful yet unforgiving terrain, only to still face the bombing of the city of Darwin by the Japanese forces that attacked Pearl Harbor. With his new film, Luhrmann is painting on a vast canvas, creating a cinematic experience that brings together romance, drama, adventure and spectacle.

How was that an international trailer? It was the exact same as the first trailer save a few different shots. ...though that music gets me every time.

It wiil be the great winner of Oscars 2009. That's for sure. It seems amazing and breath taking. Hugh Jackman is a great actor. I hope he will earn an Oscar cause he deserves it.

Australia seems incredible especially with the broad plot and setting and of course the historical enlightment of it all. It will surely captivate me for it is an upcoming work of cinematography.

All these November releases are moving back and forth. First, it was "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" moving from Nov. 21 to Jul. 17. While it was that, "Bolt" took the release date followed by "Twilight." Then, "Quantum of Solace" moved back one week to Nov. 14. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" moved one month later. Then it's this! OMG! Ever since the horrible Harry change, the November movies are being pushed back and forth. The only ones that didn't get the changes were "Transporter 3" and "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa." Stupid moves if you ask me.
