Goosebumps kicks off the week, delivering R.L. Stine beasties on DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and Digital HD. January 26 also sees the arrival of Burnt, starring Bradley Cooper, as well as Spike Lee’s recent contemporary take on Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, Chi-Raq.

Also arriving January 26 are Hou Hsiao-Hsien’s 9th century action drama The Assassin and, on DVD only, Ravi and Geeta Patel’s amusing documentary Meet the Patels.

Warner Archive delivers more Alfred Hitchcock to Blu-ray with this week’s arrival of 1956’s The Wrong Man, carrying over the features from the studio’s 2004 DVD release.

Shout! Factory brings another pair of cult classics to HD this week as January 26 sees the arrival of both 1988’s contemporary Jack the Ripper tale Jack’s Back (starring James Spader) and 1989’s black comedy horror Sonny Boy (starring David Carradine). Meanwhile, Ferdinando Baldi’s 1981 gimmicky 3D western Comin’ At Ya! gets a full 4K restoration courtesy of MVD Digital.

Three hit television series come home January 26, beginning with the complete third season of David S. Goyer’s historical fantasy series, Da Vinci’s Demons. The season was the show’s final one on STARZ, but Goyer has hinted that we might see a miniseries return sometime down the road. January 26 also sees the release of the sixth and final season of Downton Abbey and the second half of Doctor Who‘s ninth modern season, featuring the final Jenna Coleman episodes.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ true Chilean miner tale The 33 hits Digital HD this week as does James Vanderbilt’s Truth, starring Cate Blanchett and Robert Redford as Mary Mapes and Dan Rather. Look for The 33 it to arrive on physical media February 16 and Truth to hit February 2.
