The latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will arrive in a variety of options, all of which have a host of different bonus settings, including interviews with the cast and crew of the film, a short piece introducing the world to America Chavez, and a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to create the intricate and complex world of the multiverse.

Traditional bonus features like a gag reel, deleted scenes, and audio commentary will also be available. Ahead of its release in physical formats, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will also premiere on Disney+ later this month, on June 22, 2022, and will also be available to own digitally on all major digital platforms beginning then as well.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sees the return of Benedict Cumberbatch as he reprises his role as Dr. Stephen Strange. This time the Sorcerer Supreme will be joined by Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, who has finally transformed into the Scarlet Witch during the WandaVision finale.

“In the film, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before,” reads the synopsis. “Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.”

Joining Cumberbatch are returning MCU alums Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams, who are reprising their roles as Karl Mordo, Wong, and Dr. Christine Palmer, respectively. It features the introduction of the live-action debut of Marvel hero America Chavez, who is portrayed by newcomer Xochitl Gomez (The Baby-Sitters Club).
