Kazuchika Okada’s AEW Contract Details Revealed

The wrestling world is abuzz with the latest revelation about the unveiling of Kazuchika Okada‘s AEW contract details. After departing from New Japan Pro-Wrestling as his contract expired, Kazuchika Okada rose as one of the most sought-after free agents in wrestling. The suspense surrounding his future dissolved when he made a grand entrance on the March 6, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite.

Following Okada’s debut in All Elite Wrestling, details of his contract have emerged. According to a report from Tokyo Sports, Okada has inked a three-year deal valued at two billion yen, roughly equivalent to over $4 million annually.

During the show, The Young Bucks made significant announcements, revealing Adam Page’s suspension and Kenny Omega‘s firing from The Elite. As tensions escalated, Eddie Kingston was attacked by The Jackson brothers. Okada’s music hit through the arena in a shocking turn of events, signaling his arrival. However, instead of aiding Kingston, Okada delivered his signature move, The Rainmaker, leaving Kingston flat on the mat.

Following the attack, Nicholas Jackson announced that Kazuchika Okada was the newest member of The Elite. The shocking announcement stunned wrestling fans, as Omega has been in the faction since its inception.

After the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, the AEW Collision event was recorded. Scheduled to air on Saturday, March 9, the event was filmed earlier on March 7. Spoilers have surfaced for Kazuchika Okada’s first match after signing with AEW.

In the match on AEW Collision, The Young Bucks and Okada won against Jon Cruz, Liam Gray, and Adrian Adonis. Following the match, Eddie Kingston attempted to launch an attack but was met with a triple-team assault. Penta and later PAC intervened, setting up a six-man match for AEW Big Business next Wednesday.
