CBS All Access has released the first full trailer for One Dollar, their new ensemble mystery series. Check it out in the player below along with new photos in the gallery!
A mystery set in a small rustbelt town in a corner of America hit hard by the recession, One Dollar follows a one-dollar bill as it changes hands and connects a group of characters involved in the shocking murder of multiple people. According to the official CBS All Access synopsis, “The path of the dollar bill and point of view in each episode paint a picture of a modern American town with deep class and cultural divides that spill out into the open as the town’s secrets get revealed.”
The cast includes John Carroll Lynch (American Horror Story), Nathaniel Martello-White (Collateral), Philip Ettinger (Girls), Chris Denham (Billions), Kirrilee Berger (Just Add Magic) and Gracie Lawrence (The Good Wife, The Americans) with Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Jeff Perry (Nash Bridges) and musician Sturgill Simpson set to recur.

Filmed on location in Pittsburgh, One Dollar will be produced by CBS Television Studios. Matt DeRoss of Anonymous Content, Alexandre Dauman, Rafael Yglesias and Jason Mosberg will serve as executive producers, and Craig Zobel (Compliance, The Leftovers) will direct all episodes and executive produce.
One Dollar will premiere on the streaming service CBS All Access on August 30th.
