Sonic Prime Clip Introduces a New Metal Adversary

Netflix has released an exciting new Sonic Prime clip for Geeked Week, showing Sonic and Shadow facing off against a new metal opponent. New episodes of the Sonic the Hedgehog series will release on Netflix in 2024.

“With the power of the Paradox Prism under his control, Nine turns the Shatterverse upside-down,” reads the season‘s synopsis. “However, the Prism power is as unstable as its wielder, and requires energy trapped inside of Sonic to stabilize. Extracting said energy, however, means that Sonic himself may shatter! As the final battle for the fate of the Shatterverse — and Green Hill — begins, Sonic will be forced to make the ultimate sacrifice to save his friends and enemies alike!”

“The action-packed adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog go into overdrive when a run-in with Dr. Eggman results in a literal universe-shattering event,” reads the series’ logline. “Desperate to piece his prime reality back together and save his old friends, Sonic races through the Shatterverse, discovering strange worlds and enlisting new friends in an epic adventure of a lifetime!”
