ComingSoon.net has an exclusive clip from BritBox’s dark comedy anthology Inside No. 9, returning today on the streamer with a batch of new episodes for its sixth season. The BAFTA award-winning series features self-contained episodes, each with a brand-new cast (outside of the two co-creators Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith in different roles) including a number of big-name celebrities.
The clip comes from the episode, “Simon Says,” where Lindsay Duncan plays the agent of a TV writer who is trying to move on from his Game of Thrones type hit series – The Ninth Circle, but soon finds himself in a cat-and-mouse game with a fan obsessed with changing the show’s controversial ending.

Inside No. 9 tells unique and daring stories all tied to the number 9 (i.e. a floor number, a warehouse number, the name of a TV series – all examples from this season). Each standalone episode brings together an always-surprising mixture of comedy, drama, horror, and thriller — all designed to delight and confound.
This year’s guest roster includes Gemma Whalen (Game of Thrones), Derek Jacobi (The Last Tango in Halifax), Sian Clifford (Fleabag), Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty), Lindsay Duncan (A Discovery of Witches), and Paterson Joseph (Timeless).
Created by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, the winner of this year’s BAFTA award for Best Comedy returns with six new episodes, now streaming on BritBox.
