Miracle Workers season 2 trailer brings Daniel Radcliffe to the Dark Ages
TBS has released the full trailer for the upcoming second season of their hit comedy anthology series Miracle Workers, highlighting Daniel Radcliffe in the medieval period as his new character tries to live up to his father’s expectations of him. The series is scheduled to return on January 28, 2020. Check out the video below!
Miracle Workers: Dark Ages will see the return of lead stars Daniel Radcliffe (Now You See Me 2) and Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) in a story about family, friendship and trying to avoid being murdered.
Set in the medieval era, the new season will follow a group of villagers as they try to stay positive in an age of extreme economic inequality, poor healthcare, and widespread ignorance. Worse yet, their king is a bumbling ruler who treats his fowl and ducks better than his own subjects.
In addition to Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, who portrayed a low-level angel and God in the first season, Dark Ages will also see the return of regulars Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers), Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Jon Bass (Big Time in Hollywood, FL) and Lolly Adefope (Shrill) in new roles.
Miracle Workers first debuted on TBS in February 2019 and was based on Simon Rich’s novel What in God’s Name. In addition to scoring positive reviews, the cable network reports the series ranked as 2019’s No. 1 new cable comedy, reaching over 26 million viewers across linear, VOD and digital platforms.
The series is executive produced by Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video alongside Andrew Singer, Katy Jenson, Rich, Radcliffe, and Buscemi. Dark Ages is set for a January 28, 2020 premiere!
