Netflix’s Criminal trailer: One chance to uncover the truth

Netflix has released the franchise trailer for their upcoming police interrogation drama Criminal which is made up of an international cast led by David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) in guest-starring roles. Created by showrunners George Kay (Killing Eve) and Jim Field Smith (The Wrong Mans), the series is scheduled to make its debut on September 20. Check out the video in the player below!

Criminal has a particularly unique premise, by only showing what takes place exclusively within the confines of a police interview suite. This makes for a stripped down, cat-and-mouse drama that will focus on the intense mental showdown between the cop and the suspect in question.
