Professor Xavier assembles Cerebro in Legion teaser
FX has revealed a new teaser for the highly-anticipated third and final season of its acclaimed Marvel series Legion giving audiences a look at Game of Thrones‘ Harry Lloyd as a younger Professor Charles Xavier and his development of the mutant detection system Cerebro, which can be viewed in the player below!
In addition to showing the assembly of Cerebro, the new teaser also continues the hinting that the future founder of the X-Men, who is also the father of Dan Stevens’ (The Guest) David Haller, previously fought David’s parasite seeking to reclaim his former body, Amahl Farouk, also known as the Shadow King.
Based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion follows the story of David (Stevens), a man who believed he was schizophrenic but discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. With help from a team of specialists, David harnessed his unique abilities and learned he’d been haunted by a malicious parasite. Now, David is all that stands in the way of Farouk (Navid Negahban) from attaining infinite and world-ending power.
Noah Hawley serves as Executive Producer, along with John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. Legion is the latest project from Hawley and Cameron, two of the executive producers of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning FX anthology series Fargo. The series is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television, with FXP handling the physical production.
The third and final season of Legion is set to premiere on June 24.
