ABC to develop fantasy drama series Best Wishes
According to Deadline, ABC is developing a new fantasy drama series titled Best Wishes. The new show is co-created by writer-directors David Posamentier and Geoff Moore and follows the story of pragmatic man Nick Day, a man who was once successful. Nick doesn’t believe in making wishes and he thinks it is only a waste of time. His resentment from wishes is due to a recent traumatic personal tragedy that he had endured. But just as everything in his life is crumbling around him, things get more complicated with the arrival of weird woman claiming to be in the business of granting wishes. She approaches Nick because she needs his help.
The series is an hourlong drama written by Posamentier and Moore. Best Wishes is produced by Random Hill and ABC Studios. The executive producers will be Jon Harmon Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz of Random Hill.
The fantasy series is not the only project that Posamentier and Moore have worked on together. Their first team up project was the 2014 comedy drama film Better Living Through Chemistry starring Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell (Jojo Rabbit), Olivia Wilde (Life Itself), Michelle Monaghan and Jane Fonda (Grace and Frankie, Bookclub).
