Aya Sumika has been upped to a regular on CBS’ crime drama “Numb3rs,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
Sumika has recurred on the CBS Paramount Network TV-produced series for the past two seasons as Special Agent Liz Warner, the love interest to Don Eppes (Rob Morrow).
She will be the second new regular on the upcoming fifth season. Sophina Brown recently joined the show as Nikki Donat, an ex-LAPD officer and full-blown adrenaline junkie who joins the Los Angeles FBI team as a junior agent.
The two join returning regulars Morrow, David Krumholtz, Judd Hirsch, Alimi Ballard, Navi Rawat, Dylan Bruno and Peter MacNicol.
