Bullseye has got a new suit, and fans have reacted to it online. Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 set photos reveal a hidden camera linking the character to a dead villain.
The set photos show actor Wilson Bethel in a suit that breaks from the simpler designs of the first two seasons. The new attire adopts a blue-black base with white accents and a large bullseye logo on the helmet, bringing the villain’s comic-book accuracy into live-action while preserving the grounded tone of the series. The redesign also mirrors Matt Murdock’s Daredevil silhouette, though the forehead target replaces the devil horns and the eye slits glow white rather than red.
Bullseye’s cowl camera is like Taskmaster
The centre of Bullseye’s helmet logo contains a small embedded camera. The component seems similar to the one featured in Taskmaster’s original suit, seen in Black Widow. While Taskmaster was killed early on in Thunderbolts*, it’s interesting to see her tech return in a refreshing way in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
The inclusion points to the influence of Bullseye’s current employers. The character was recruited as a hired hand by Mr. Charles and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine at the close of Season 2. A surveillance feed built into the mask would allow the pair to monitor operations directly, removing any need to rely on Dex’s version of events. It is a method of control that echoes the Red Room’s approach with Taskmaster, whose camera recorded missions for analysis and operational security.
Additionally, the similarity may indicate a longer-term plan. Taskmaster’s recording equipment served a combat function, capturing enemy techniques for study and replication. Bullseye has already undergone experimental spinal surgery, making further enhancement a logical step. The helmet could eventually house a heads-up display for predictive targeting, or an electronic chip modelled on the one that granted Taskmaster her mimicry abilities. Such upgrades would position Dex as a successor, whether or not he formally adopts the mantle.
Fans react to Bullseye’s comic-accurate suit
The reveal prompted immediate discussion on social media. One viewer described the suit as “absolutely perfect,” while another wrote, “DC take notes. White eyes. Comic accurate looks.”
The incremental wardrobe progression across seasons also got commended, with a fan noting simply, “Sickkkk,” and another adding, “Each season suit is so peak.”
Daredevil: Born Again seasons one and two are available on Disney+. Season three is expected to be released in 2027.
