One of CBS‘s popular TV shows is officially ending its over a decade-long run tonight, after eleven seasons. What do we know about the series finale of CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is an acclaimed late-night talk show that was surprisingly canceled by CBS nearly a year ago. The series finale episode is set to run for an extended time, teasing an over-hour-long send-off for the beloved show. CBS hasn’t revealed the celebrities who will appear in tonight’s final episode, but it’s expected to be a star-studded farewell.

In solidarity with Colbert, fellow late-night show hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver will also be present in the finale. Because of this, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have decided to air reruns tonight so that their viewers can be able to tune in for The Late Show’s ending.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert first aired on September 8, 2015, when the acclaimed host officially took over the CBS franchise from David Letterman. Each episode has been taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Besides hosting, Colberg also serves as an executive producer and writer. During the show’s run, it has won two Emmy Awards out of 33 nominations, including Outstanding Talk Series.
