Robert Irwin discusses rumors about potentially being the next Bachelor
Robert Irwin won the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars, making a big mark on the reality TV industry. But it seems that Irwin is not yet done with reality TV. Rather, he could be open to a very interesting prospect in the future.
When Entertainment Tonight asked Irwin if he could potentially lead a season of The Bachelor in the future, the 22-year-old did not say no. “Never say never, I’m in this realm right now where I’m like, never say never,” he said about making a return to the industry. While addressing The Bachelor in particular, Irwin said, “You know what? Watch this space. Who knows.”
He further teased, “It’s a strange world. Anything could happen.”
But Irwin admitted that he was shocked to see the speculations about him. “I feel like some of the rumors flying around during Dancing with the Stars — like, Robert’s gonna be the next Bachelor — I’m like, oh my goodness. I’m a zookeeper,” he said. He further added, “I’m an animal conservationist. That’s my thing. My world is very different from most of the things that are reported on about me.”
He added that in his mind, his life was way more boring than what people thought. “I’m pretty vanilla,” he further added about his romantic life.
The last comment about Irwin’s dating life came after fans speculated that he might be romantically involved with Xochitl Gomez.
However, Robert Irwin has previously expressed his desire to find a life partner, citing his parents’ relationship as “perfect.”
