Netflix has officially announced the Beef Season 2 release date, revealing when fans will be able to check out the next entry in the comedy-drama anthology series.
When is Beef Season 2’s release date?
Beef Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on April 16, 2026. The second season of the series will feature another stacked cast, including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, and Seoyeon Jang. Any additional casting has not yet been revealed by Netflix.
Season 2 of the show will once again be helmed by Lee Sung Jin, who created the original series and acted as showrunner for the first season. Alongside him, Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny are all attached to the series as executive producers.
This season, the show will focus on a young couple, who witness “alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner,” according to the series’ logline.
The first season of Beef premiered on Netflix in April 2023. It starred Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, and late Star Trek actress Patti Yasutake.
Upon its premiere, Beef was incredibly well-received, and went on to earn a ton of critical accolades. The series won eight Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, while both Yeun and Wong also took home Emmys for acting. The series also won all three of its nominated categories at the Golden Globes.
