It’s been less than a week since the premiere, and The Bear Season 3 has already set viewership records for FX and Hulu. Per Disney, The Bear Season 3 premiere garnered 5.4 million views globally, a 24% increase over The Bear Season 2.
On Hulu, The Bear Season 3 is now the most-watched FX season premiere, the most-watched scripted season premiere, and the third-most-watched season premiere ever. In the weeks leading up to the premiere, Disney noted that fans looking to watch the show for the first time or catch up ahead of the third season increased viewership for The Bear’s first two seasons.
What is The Bear Season 3 About?
“Season three of FX’s The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business,” the season 3 synopsis reads. “It’s a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity.”
The Bear stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich, Abby Elliott as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto, Lionel Boyce as Marcus Brooks, Liza Colón-Zayas as Bettina “Tina” Marrero, and Matty Matheson as Neil Fak. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon appear in recurring roles.

The Bear Season 1 received 10 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actor (White), Supporting Actress (Edebiri), and Supporting Actor (Moss-Bachrach).
The Bear has been renewed for Season 4. All 10 episodes of The Bear are now streaming on Hulu.
