Prior to this announcement, the new cast of the 13th season, Frances Conroy and Alex Consani, were spotted filming exterior scenes, and Grande was nowhere to be seen.
The casting announcement of the Wicked star in the show was made on October 25. She was set to make her debut in Ryan Murphy‘s franchise alongside Conroy, Consani, Paul Anthony Kelly, Berto Colón, and Joey Pollari.
In November 2025, she teased her role in the horror show as a “very tiny thing to do” adding, “I know a little tiny bit about the role but what I know I can’t say. But I’ll be grateful to be a part of it because I love everyone involved.” (via People)
Grande is currently on her Eternal Sunshine Tour, which had to be rescheduled. The July 12 stop in Brooklyn was shifted to July 14. She also shifted her July 22 and 24 shows in Boston to July 23 and July 26. Other stops in the tour include New York, Chicago, Canada, and London.
The other projects she is working on are related to acting. She told Today, “I really am enjoying acting right now. Whether it’s movies or being on stage or a little something here and there, I think that’s currently what I’m most inspired by.”
Her upcoming movie is the sequel Focker-In-Law, which also includes Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, releasing on November 25, 2026. Moreover, she will also star in Sunday in the Park with George (2027), reuniting with her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
