Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Officially Begins Production

Netflix has announced that production of Ginny & Georgia Season 3 has officially begun in Toronto after over a year since the hit comedy-drama had debuted its 10-episode second season.

The announcement comes with photos from the cast’s first table read for Season 3. At the moment, the streamer hasn’t revealed the return date for Ginny & Georgia, but a previous report hinted that Season 3 might premiere sometime in 2025. Due to the success of Season 2, the show was renewed for two more seasons last May 2023.

Who’s involved in Ginny & Georgia?

Ginny & Georgia is created and executive produced by Sarah Lampert, with Debra J. Fisher serving as the showrunner. The series currently stars Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Chelsea Clark, Nathan Mitchell, and Katie Douglas. It is executive produced by Fisher, Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly, Holly Hines, Daniel March, Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, Elena Blekhter, Angela Nissel, James Genn and Armand Leo.

“We ended Season 2 with Georgia arrested for murder — ruining her fairy tale wedding and leaving the fate of the Miller family hanging in the balance,” Lampert said in a statement (via Tudum). “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite as hard as it will in Season 3. We are beyond excited to finally kick off production and keep bringing our fans the characters they love.”
