Rick and Morty Season 7 Premiere Release Date Set by Adult Swim

The Rick and Morty season 7 premiere release date has been revealed.

This upcoming season of the famous animated science fiction comedy series will be the first without the involvement of Justin Roiland, who served as the co-creator and voices of the two main characters. Adult Swim cut ties with him following his domestic battery allegations and the seventh season will feature new actors for the titular characters.

When is the Rick and Morty season 7 release date?

The season premiere will arrive on Sunday, October 15 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim.

“It’s happening,” confirmed Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim. “Thanks to the talent of the entire show team, we can all enjoy 10 new episodes that yet again raise the bar for comedy and animation. This season proves that the geniuses at work on ‘Rick and Morty’ are just getting started.”

“Rick and Morty are back and sounding more like themselves than ever!” reads the synopsis, poking fun at the real-world recastings. “It’s season seven, and the possibilities are endless: what’s up with Jerry? EVIL Summer?! And will they ever go back to the high school?! Maybe not! But let’s find out! There’s probably less piss than last season. “Rick and Morty,” 100 years! Or at least until season 10!”
