What do we see in the trailer for the Rick and Morty spin-off TV show?
The new spin-off in the Rick and Morty franchise is called President Curtis, voiced by the Emmy Award-winning actor Keith David. The upcoming show follows “President Andre Curtis and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kinds of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with – from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.”
The trailer focuses on the adventure of President Curtis, alongside Banks, voiced by Stephanie Beatriz, and Special Agent O’Doyle, voiced by Jim Rash. Beatriz is best known for her role in Brooklyn 99 (2013), while Jim Rash is known for his supporting role in Community (2009). It shows the trio going on missions and tackling interdimensional crises. Other cast members are yet to be disclosed.
During the world premiere screening of President Curtis at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Adult Swim’s President Michael Ouweleen stated, “There’s no better animation‑loving crowd than Annecy, which makes it the perfect place to debut this new series. We can’t wait for everyone to see how great President Curtis is on his own when the series premieres next month!”

The creators, Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, will also serve as the executive producers of President Curtis. However, they will team up with other executive producers Danielle Uhlarik, Monica Mitchell, and Steve Levy.
President Curtis premieres on Sunday, July 26, at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim, right after the final episode of the Rick and Morty series. Moreover, the series will be available for streaming on HBO MAX on July 27.
