Set in post-apocalyptic Glendale, California, Daybreak on Netflix follows high school outcast Josh Wheeler, who is finally having his moment in the sun in dystopian times. Following a nuclear blast, a zombie outbreak affects all grownups but strangely, not the kids. Taking advantage of the situation, Josh tries to look for his missing lady love, Sam, with the help of 10-year-old arsonist Angelica and a former bully Wesley. Can they get to Sam before the zombies get to them?
