The Boys College Spin-off Set Photos Show Patrick Schwarzenegger’s Golden Boy

New set photos from the highly anticipated upcoming spin-off series to Amazon Studios’ The Boys have surfaced, showcasing Patrick Schwarzenegger’s hero and more.

The new set photos come courtesy of a reader and were taken at the University of Toronto, which had been retrofitted to become the “Godolkin University School of Crimefighting,” and likely the home of the G-Men (an obvious parody of the X-Men and their own school, Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters).

Alongside images of the school, a covered-up statue of Lamplighter, a hero briefly shown off in Season 2 of The Boys and played by Shawn Ashmore, can be seen, as well as an empty statue stand for Translucent. Finally, advertisements for the school can be seen hung up on light poles, one of which features Schwarzenegger’s character Golden Boy, a new Supe that will be introduced in the series.

The Boys spin-off will be set in America’s only college for young adult superheroes, ineffectually referred to as Supes, run by Vought International and is being described as “an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual and moral boundaries to the test,” blending the pitfalls of a college series with the gritty competitive nature of The Hunger Games and heart, satire and raunch of the main series.

The project will be loosely inspired by the G-Men, a parody of the X-Men from The Boys comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It currently stars Lizze Broadway, Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, and Reina Hardesty.

The Boys spin-off will be executive produced by showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters along with Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver of Point Grey Pictures and Neal H. Moritz and Payun Shetty of Original Film, while Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television will produce.
