J.K. Simmons and Bruce Dern set to join Amazon’s Goliath final season
After over two months since Goliath has been renewed for its fourth and final season, EW brings word that Academy Award-winning actor J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and two-time Oscar nominee Bruce Dern (Nebraska) have officially signed on to join Billy Bob Thornton in Amazon Prime’s hit legal drama series. Simmons is set to portray the role of George Zax, who is described as the head of a family-owned and operated pharmaceutical company. While Dern will be playing George’s brother Frank, who is a scientific genius and the ostracized black sheep of the Zax family. The outlet also notes that they will be the final season’s new antagonists.

As Billy and his team pursue the truth, old enemies and personal demons resurface, forcing him to confront his own mortality.
