This year marks the 50th anniversary of the long-running (and more popular than ever) British science fiction series, “Doctor Who.” An anniversary special, “The Day of the Doctor,” is set to premiere on the show’s official birthday, Saturday, November 23. Today, the BBC has debuted a stylish trailer for the 75-minute adventure. Check it out below!
“The Day of the Doctor” stars Matt Smith (How to Catch a Monster), David Tennant (“Broadchurch”), Jenna Coleman (“Dancing on the Edge”), with Billie Piper (“Secret Diary of a Call Girl”) and John Hurt (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). This is the first time Tennant and Piper have appeared in the series since their farewells in 2010.
