Ploy’s Yearbook Episode 4 Recap & Spoilers: Why Do Jimmy Jitaraphol and Punpun Sutatta Break Up?

Ploy’s Yearbook released episode 4 on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel GMM 25. The Thai Drama follows the love stories of five high school classmates who share the same name, Ploy.

The girls’ life is turned upside down after a mishap takes their relationships downhill. After the five Ploy’s numbers get mixed up in their school yearbook, it leads to several misunderstandings. However, when the classmates reunite years later, they’re given a chance to set things right.

Episode 4 of Ploy’s Yearbook begins with Mek (Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok) helping Pretty Ploy (Punpun Sutatta Udomsilp) with her studies in high school. While Mek says he’s interested in aliens, Pretty Ploy says her dream is to fall in love.

In the present day, Pretty Ploy treats Mek to a meal at her family restaurant. She says she first wanted to lift her dating curse by making Mek forgive him. But fell for him after seeing how good-looking he had gotten. Mek apologizes for calling Pretty Ploy an “airhead woman” in school. He explains he did that after overhearing Pretty say she liked Mek because he could make her graduate high school. The two clear out their misunderstandings and start dating.

Later, Mek and Pretty meet their friends at Prez Ploy’s cafe. Pretty asks Plain Ploy about her husband, but the latter answers vaguely. Meanwhile, Prof says if she can get Kram for the project, she’ll stop chasing Punk for the artist. Prez adds that Punk dislikes her even more after the yearbook mix-up.

Ploy’s Yearbook episode 4 recap: Kram and Punk accept the offer

Prof finds out Kram purposely rejected her offer. She remembers their promise in school. Kram wanted to become a famous actor so he’d be good enough for Prof. Meanwhile, the latter said she’ll always support him.

As Prof goes to see Kram, the following flashback shows the pair’s first meeting in school. The latter befriended the former when she returned from England. Prof then tells Kram the project won’t hinder his plans to go global.

The latter says he rejected the offer because Prof would get in trouble. The professor clarified that it was her mother who chose him for the project. Afterwards, the group plans a better proposal that both Punk and Kram couldn’t refuse. They lie to both parties about the other accepting the offer. Seeing their career benefits, Kram and Punk agree to join.

Afterwards, Mek’s mother praises Pretty Ploy. However, the latter is shaken after she receives a call about her Grandma being in the hospital. Mek drives her and comforts Pretty as the latter opens up about her grandma’s medical complications. Fortunately, Grandma is doing better when Pretty gets to the hospital. The latter introduces Mek as her future husband.

Later, Mek asks Pretty if she’s only dating him to fulfil her Grandma’s wish to see her get married. The latter answers that she didn’t tell him the whole truth. Mek then leaves and doesn’t reply to Pretty’s messages for several days. After asking Mek’s mother whereabouts, Pretty finds him drunk at a bar and drives him home. The former then tells the latter to Mek go if she doesn’t like him. The next morning, Pretty and Mek decide to be just friends.

Ploy’s Yearbook episode 4: All five Ploys reunite as Punk returns

Pretty Ploy cries, telling her friends about her breakup. She confesses she only wanted a husband material at first but then genuinely fell for Mek.

Meanwhile, Punk returns to Thailand from Italy and meets the other Ploys. However, Prez and Punk’s feud continues years later as they start bickering again.

Nonetheless, the girls get drunk and enjoy their reunion. In the morning, the girls rush to sign the contract. The episode ends on a shocking note as Kram and Prof make the headlines for sleeping together.
