Mark Hartley (Not Quite Hollywood) is still determined to helm a remake of the 1978 Australian horror film Patrick. It’s a project that has been kicked around for a while and, last December, it appeared financing had been locked in place. Twitch now reports filming will begin in November and with this news a new sales one-sheet has been revealed.

Sharni Vinson and Rachel Griffiths are attached to star. Apparently, Charles Dance is now appearing in the film, presumably taking on the role originally filled by Richard E. Grant (whose name is absent from Twitch’s piece).
Synopsis: After killing is mother and her lover some years before, Patrick is the comatose patient in room 15 of a remote, private psychiatric clinic run by the secretive Dr Roget, who treats him as a guinea pig in his bizarre studies of life and death. When Kathy, a nurse who has recently separated from her boyfriend, begins working at the clinic, she is instructed to care for him. She is disturbed by Roget
