Judi Dench opened up about her feelings regarding Kevin Spacey, the disgraced Hollywood icon who has not been in the limelight for a while, in a recent interview. Dench, who shared the screen with Spacey in The Shipping News (2001), revealed that she has been in touch with Spacey via texts.

Judi Dench recently spoke to Radio Times about her current relationship with Kevin Spacey. The Usual Suspects star was acquitted of sexual assault charges recently. He was also found not liable in a civil case brought in New York in 2022. But he is yet to face more claims of sexual assault in the London civil court next year. The actor has been effectively blacklisted from Hollywood and has been involved in more independent projects lately.
However, Judi Dench, one of the biggest names in Hollywood, is still in support of Spacey. “Kevin has been exonerated, and I hear from Kevin, we text,” she revealed to Radio Times in a recent interview.
In 2017, Spacey faced several allegations of sexual misconduct. In the years that followed, Spacey faced multiple criminal investigations, but most charges against him did not stand or were dropped. The actor has also consistently denied all the accusations against him. He was acquitted by a jury of sexual assault charges in 2023.
In the same interview, Dench also voiced her support for Harvey Weinstein, who remains in prison.
