Watch: Trailer for David O. Russell’s ‘Nailed’, Now Titled ‘Accidental Love’

Well, this is interesting. Just below is the trailer for Accidental Love, which was formerly known as Politics of Love and before that Nailed, back when David O. Russell was credited as director and co-writer. However, in 2008 production was shut down four times before eventually being shut down for good as financing wasn’t coming through and the crew wasn’t being paid. Now Millennium is set to release the picture this February under the title Accidental Love with Stephen Greene credited as director.

The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Howard Birdwell, a clueless congressman who comes in contact with a small town waitress (Jessica Biel), who accidentally gets a nail lodged in her head as her boyfriend (James Marsden) attempts his marriage proposal. Her predicament leads her on a journey to Washington DC, where she meets Birdwell, who might be able to help her unusual case.

Along with Gyllenhaal, Biel and Marsden, the film co-stars Catherine Keener, Tracy Morgan, James Brolin and Paul Reubens and just might be a curious little movie to watch… You just know Russell will be asked several questions about it once he starts his PR tour for Joy later in the year.

Watch the trailer below and look for the film on VOD on February 10 and in theaters on the 20th.
