Fox Searchlight has released a brand new, international trailer for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu‘s Birdman, which is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival before hitting theaters on October 17.
Starring Michael Keaton, Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.
Along with Keaton the film co-stars Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis, Andrea Riseborough and Amy Ryan.
