Entertainment One has premiered the first trailer for Simon Pegg‘s new movie Hector and the Search for Happiness from Serendipity helmer Peter Chisholm and co-starring Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Stellan Skarsgard, Jean Reno, Toni Collette and Christopher Plummer.
The story centers on Hector (Pegg), a psychiatrist searching the globe to find the secret of happiness after he realizes he can’t help his patients find happiness if he himself can’t. So, he travels to China, Africa and Los Angeles and meets a host of characters and after a series of adventures and coming close to losing his life, he realizes that he does not wish to die before he has really lived.
