It was revealed today that Laura Dern and Chiwetel Ejiofor will be the two guests honored with Tribute awards for Outstanding Achievement in Acting at this year’s Seattle International Film Festival and one of the two films that will play in Dern’s honor is her latest, The Fault in Our Stars on May 16, of which a brand new trailer has just premiered.
Directed by Josh Boone and starring Shailene Woodley (Divergent) and Ansel Elgort, the film is based on the novel by John Green, telling the story of Hazel and Gus, two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.
