Trailers for a pair of upcoming knucklehead actioners premiered this morning, the first for the 2.5 hour long The Raid 2: Berandal and the second for Brick Mansions, which is going to garner most of its attention due to Paul Walker‘s involvement.
Between the two I’d watch Brick Mansions well before The Raid 2 as the first movie was enough for me to realize director Gareth Evans‘ desire for grunting and groaning just isn’t up my alley. Even though Brick Mansions is nothing more than a District B13 remake, it has to be shorter than 148 minutes and in this scenario that’s a win.
