Director and co-writer Rob Thomas, title star Kristen Bell and other members of the upcoming Veronica Mars movie such as Jason Dohring, Tina Majorino and Chris Lowell took to Comic Con to preview the recently, Kickstarter-funded feature film spin-off at San Diego’s Comic Con.
They brought with them a first look video, which included a brief teaser trailer, which you can watch directly below.
Thomas recently discussed the film’s plot with TV Line letting us know the film picks up nine years after the show’s season three finale and Veronica (Bell) hasn’t worked a PI case since. She’s transferred away from Hearst college after her freshman year and went up to Stanford and finished her undergraduate degree, followed by a stint at Columbia Law School.
As the film begins she’s between having graduated and taken the bar and she’s interviewing at various law firms in New York, which brings us to the following teaser. Have a look, the film is set to hit theaters in 2014.
