There’s already some good buzz spreading surrounding Woody Allen‘s Blue Jasmine, which sees its first trailer debuting right now.
The film stars Cate Blanchett as a high-society wife whose husband (Alec Baldwin) goes to jail for some crooked financial dealings, leaving Blanchett’s character to deal with the economic and emotional aftermath. The film co-stars Peter Sarsgaard, Louis C.K., Sally Hawkins, Charlie Tahan, Alden Ehrenreich, Tammy Blanchard, Michael Stuhlbarg and Bobby Cannavale.
Sony Classics is set to release it into limited theaters on July 26 and Oscar buzz is already swirling around Blanchett and Baldwin. Watch the trailer below and see if you’re getting the same vibe from this first peek.
