Magnet has revealed the first Europa Report trailer and poster, giving you a first look at the found footage-style sci-fi film from Sebastián Cordero and starring Sharlto Copley (District 9), Michael Nyqvist (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Daniel Wu and Anamaria Marinca.
The film is described as employing a unique blend of documentary, alternative history and science fiction into a thriller following a contemporary mission to Jupiter’s moon Europa, to investigate the possible existence of alien life within our solar system. Developed in close collaboration with NASA, JPL, SpaceX and other leaders in the scientific community, the film imagines the next step in manned space exploration and is based on recent scientific discoveries and theories.
Magnet has set Europa Report for an iTunes/On Demand premiere on June 27 followed by a theatrical release on August 2. Check out the trailer and poster below.
