Summit has debuted the first trailer for the continuation of the geriatric hitman franchise Red 2 starring Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung Hun Lee. Dean Parisot (Fun with Dick and Jane) directs.
This time around retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses (Willis) and friends reunite to track down a missing portable nuclear device. The mission takes them to Paris, London and Moscow and I don’t think we should expect logic to play much of a role.
I do find it curious that while I expect A Good Day to Die Hard will make note of Bruce Willis’ age as John McClane, Red 2 will use it as the punchline. Not exactly a genius-level observation on my part, but an observation nonetheless.
