I am entirely disappointed Paramount decided not to screen Jack Reacher in time to be considered for nomination at the Critics’ Choice Awards. The BFCA has an action category and as a big fan of Tom Cruise and the majority of his movie decisions this is one I’ve had on my radar and am excited to see… yet, the screening here in Seattle is ten days after nomination ballots are due. Oh well… Such is life…
Award talk aside, a new Japanese trailer and the first clip from the film that finds Cruise taking on the titular role based on the series of Lee Child novels have arrived. The clip features Richard Jenkins and David Oyelowo discussing the particulars over the Reacher character, though I can’t say much more as I only watched a couple of seconds so I could tell you that much.
