For those of you that loved The Notebook, adored Nights in Rodanthe and/or cried during The Last Song I have the trailer for the next adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel for you… The Lucky One starring Zac Efron as a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq, something he attributes to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met.
Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
I don’t know about you, but I’m already uninterested, though I’m sure there are a fleet of folks ready to line up.
Warner Bros. will be releasing the film on April 20, 2012 and you can check out the trailer below or in high definition at Apple.
