Dimension Films debuted the Piranha 3DD trailer at last night’s Scream Awards despite the fact they moved it from its November 23 release to an unspecified date in 2012. The fact they went ahead with a trailer tells me they haven’t delayed it for too long, but we still don’t have an official date.
The film is a sequel to 2010’s Piranha 3D and is directed by John Gulager as the action moves from Spring Break at Lake Victoria to a wild afternoon at The Big Wet Water Park.
Prepared to die this time around are Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, David Koechner, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, David Hasselhoff as himself and returning stars Ving Rhames and Christopher Lloyd. Check out the first trailer below
