Watch: First Official ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ Trailer

Dreamworks has premiered the first official Kung Fu Panda 3 trailer, bringing the titular Panda, Po (voiced by Jack Black) back to the big screen for the first time in five years as the film is set to hit theaters on Jan. 29, 2016. Yeah, they are going for an early year slot with this one as the entire calendar is becoming a possible launching pad for blockbuster cinema nowadays.

The story begins with the appearance of Po’s long-lost panda father and the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible–learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.

Along with Black the voice cast includes Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, Mads Mikkelsen and Rebel Wilson.
