Relativity Media has debuted the first trailer for their upcoming kids in the water that get eaten by sharks feature, which is aptly titled Shark Night 3D. The film is an obvious answer to Dimension’s Piranha 3D and will hit theaters on September 2, just a couple months before Dimension will deliver the second batch of smaller carnivorous fish with Piranha 3DD on November 23.
As for Shark Night, it stars a list of smaller name actors with Sara Paxton being the most well known of the bunch and centers on seven men and women who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana’s Gulf area. Their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of hellish shark attacks. Yikes.
