A red band trailer for Robert Rodriguez’s Machete was released in conjunction with the premiere of seven minutes of footage from Comic Con last night. I didn’t watch the trailer in hopes of maintaining some semblance of surprise when the film is released, but I did hear Danny Trejo as the title character uses someone’s small intestine to repel down the side of a building (or something like that). Not sure if it’s in this trailer, but if that’s the kind of wackiness we’re in for with this film when it releases on September 3, I’m down.
