Universal (via Yahoo) has debuted the first trailer for writer-director George Nolfi’s political thriller The Adjustment Bureau, which was recently moved from its July 30 summer release date and will now arrive on September 17.
The film is an adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story “The Adjustment Team” and features Damon as the ambitious politician David Norris, a man who glimpses the future Fate has planned for him and realizes he wants something else. To get it, he must pursue a beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt), under and through the streets of modern-day New York as mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.
