The young boys around the Internet are buzzing… The trailer for Jennifer’s Body has debuted online and I can only assume it is the fact the director of Aeon Flux helmed this little horror film that has everybody all in a huff… What’s that? You say it’s because of someone named Megan Fox? You mean that superbly talented young actress that has delivered such riveting performances in the likes of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and both Transformers films? Excuse me… sorry I missed it but you are probably right.
Written by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody (Juno), Jennifer’s Body tells the story of a gorgeous cheerleader (Fox) who is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town, her “plain Jane” best friend (Amanda Seyfried) must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.
The film has already been rated R for sexuality, bloody violence, language and brief drug use and is set to hit theaters on September 18. Who knows, this one could be good. I haven’t watched the below trailer yet, but I have seen some say it looks like it’s just like Juno, but instead of being pregnant the girl is possessed. How does it look to you?
