YouTube user “TM2Megatron” has put together a fan trailer for WALL-E using the audio from the teaser trailer for Watchmen and it is truly inspired. The use of slow-motion and appropraite scenes duplicating the mood from the original Watchmen trailer is spot on accurate.
On the accompanying YouTube page he gives the following note for the release:
In anticipation of the upcoming release of Watchmen, I decided to take a crack at what many have done for other films; and set the audio from Watchmen’s epic IMAX teaser to scenes from one of my favourite films of all time. So sit back, and enoy WALL•E redone in Watchmen’s style!
