I apologize if it seems like I am getting excited over nothing, but I thoroughly enjoy the Award Season and the Oscars are definitely my favorite of the bunch. That said, a special 30-second trailer featuring memorable moments from Hollywood’s biggest night will be screening for moviegoers across the nation in promotion of the 78th Academy Awards and it is also available online.
Featuring previous years’ highlights, the trailer includes numerous Oscar®-winning moments including those of Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Jamie Foxx, Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Hilary Swank and Denzel Washington.
The trailer, accompanied by music from The Calling’s hit single “Our Lives,” will be shown in more than 20,000 movie theaters throughout the United States and on all domestic United Airlines P.S.SM Premium Service flights through March 5.
The 78th Academy Awards trailer was produced by The Ant Farm, a Los Angeles-based media firm. Eastman Kodak donated film stock and Deluxe Laboratories provided the processing services for the trailer’s production.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements for 2005 will be presented on March 5, 2006, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland, and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. PST.
